Collected Information: Our intent is to help you to find matches conveniently and successfully. From time to time, in our monthly newsletter, we may feature one or two Member profiles.

TriState Black Singles, LLC collects two broad types of information: personally identifiable information (PII) and non-personally identifiable information (non-PII). PII is unique to you. Non-PII is information that does not identify you specifically. TriState Black Singles, LLC only collects information that you provide voluntarily.

In order to enter this web site, you need to register as a Member. When you register, you provide a wide variety of information, such as your height, hair color, sex, marital status and interests, and you select a username and password. That is your log file, which stays internally.

Also, you may provide billing information, including your e-mail address, full name, address and payment information. We keep your billing information and password secure, through our Payment Gateway.

As a Member, you create a profile to help you to find a match. Your profile may include a photo and thoughtful essay. Your profile, which may be viewed by interested Members, only has your selected nick name to identify you. If you submit photos, TriState Black Singles, LLC will make them available to other Members.

COOKIES: TriState Black Singles, LLC may place “cookies” on some of its web pages. These very small files enable us to give to you the individualized responses that you expect. For example, cookies help us to understand your interests, so we can tailor our newsletter to serve our diverse, Black community better. Cookies let us identify new visitors and enable us to count our traffic. Your browser may allow you to decline cookies. However, as a website, needs cookies to operate best. MOBILE ANALYTICS: We use analytical software to understand how our mobile software works on your phone. We do NOT link your personally identifiable information (PII) to this information.

How We Use Collected Information

We want your visits to be satisfying, time-efficient and productive. Therefore, we offer services that make it easier for you to meet other Members, such as individual profiles. Your profile is available for other Members to see and it excludes any identifying information about you, like your e-mail address. Your e-mail address is not available to any third party beyond how it is detailed in this policy.

We may collect automatically non-PII information about how our Members use our site, such as the time and the date that you visit and your access domain. This information is NOT personally-identifiable. We may analyze this information to improve your visit and to share this information with carefully-selected third parties.

We may use PII to market our website better, to improve our website design, to provide more relevant content and to understand how our Members use this website.

We may use your voluntarily-provided information to create our monthly newsletter, which will contain articles, product announcements and dating tips for Black singles.

We may use your information, if disputes or difficulties arise.

We need and value your referrals. To each of your referred friends, we will send two invitations to visit our web site which will include your name. Please refer only unmarried adults! Do not refer separated, but still fully-married, adults.

Links to Other Web Sites: We provide to you this detailed Privacy Policy. However, we do not know the privacy practices of other web sites linked to us or the privacy practices of the third party advertisers. As a result, we do not accept responsibility for their policies which are independent of ours. Not surprisingly, theirs may differ from ours. How We Disclose Information

It is not our intent to disclose any communications between Members or to disclose any personally identifiable information (PII). However, if we are required to disclose information to a federal or state government, law enforcement agency or an authorized third party, we will cooperate. This may involve intellectual property issues, fraud or any illegal activity. In our sole discretion, we will disclose communications to protect any Member’s safety, if threats arise! Also, we will disclose information to the appropriate authorities to protect any Member from abuse (which is not limited to domestic violence)!

We do NOT rent or sell your personally identifiable information (PII) to any third party.

FINANCIAL INFORMATION: We require certain information, such as your name, address, phone number and credit card information, when you register as a Member, after our initial free Membership promotion ends. We use this information to quickly process your Membership request through an authorized credit card processing company and any other third party needing the information to complete your Membership activation.

When you become a Member, you accept our payment processing, which involves third parties, and may include your bank and your credit card issuer. We uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and/or strong encryption (3DES) technology.

3RD PARTY ADVERTISERS: We may use affiliate marketing ads on behalf of TriState Black Singles. TriState Black Singles, LLC collects personally identifiable information (PII) from multiple Members and shares this information in a non-PII way. Your name, e-mail account, bank account, password and credit card are never revealed to advertisers!

Relationship among Members

As a Member, you can Instant Message and e-mail other Members. When you accept this Privacy Policy, you agree to respect all other Members’ personally identifiable information (PPI). You agree not to use any Member’s PII for your own or for any 3rd party’s commercial use, without both the Member’s consent and our consent. We stand adamantly against spamming, so do not include any Member on such email or postal mail list, without his/her explicit written permission!

Member Password

The careful control of your login information and your password is your responsibility, so please take it very seriously! Please safeguard both! If someone other than you enters this website using your login information and password, you remain liable for his or her actions. You will be responsible for any financial commitments made, also. If you believe that you have compromised your password, reset it immediately.

Member Profile

As a Member, you should update your profile every few weeks. When you change your password and your e-mail address, we keep information regarding the earlier one.

We keep records of your requests for assistance, such as needing technical support or help implementing our Terms of Service or lodging complaints against a Member.

Upon your request by either e-mail at [email protected] or by written mail at PO Box 5731, Englewood NJ 07631, we will cancel your Membership and remove your billing information from our active databases. Since, for security, we back up our systems often, some of your personally identifiable information (PII) may remain in our archived databases.

We use high industry standards to protect our Members and high security for our web site. Our secure website is designed to prevent unauthorized access and misuse, because safeguarding your personally identifiable information (PII) is important to us! However, if a third party illegally enters our site, we cannot guarantee that your information will stay protected. Due to the nature of the Internet, we cannot provide complete security of data transmission. We are not liable for any unintentional disclosure.
